The starter insulated kit on 3/8in drive, for a workshop taking its first EV jobs and needing the sockets, ratchet, pliers and screwdrivers to isolate a pack, pull a service plug and work on connectors. Every piece is rated 1000V AC / 1500V DC to IEC 60900, VDE certified and GS approved, and proof tested at 10,000V. The 1500V DC figure sits above the pack voltage on an 800V car, so this is enough tool for anything on the road today.

For your 22 pieces you get fifteen sockets from 6mm to 20mm, a quick release ratchet, two extensions, a pair of pliers and a pair of long nose pliers, and a flat and a Phillips screwdriver. That is enough to isolate, disconnect and work on the high voltage side of most jobs. It is not a torque kit. Pack fixings have a torque figure and there is no torque wrench in this case, so add one separately.

If you already own insulated screwdrivers and pliers, look at the socket set on its own. If you want more in one case, the 25 piece kit is the step up.

Standard delivery takes 2 to 3 working days. It is free on orders of £100 or more, and £9.90 on smaller orders.

Next working day delivery is £11.90, or £24.00 for delivery before 12 noon. Order by 12 noon, Monday to Friday. There is no Saturday delivery.

We deliver across Great Britain, including the Highlands and Scottish islands. The battery lifting table and mobile EV safety station travel on a pallet for £83.00. For Northern Ireland or anywhere outside the UK, email us for a price before you order.

Changed your mind? Tell us within 14 days of delivery and send the item back unused in its original packaging. Faulty or damaged items come back at our cost. Insulating gloves and other worn PPE can only be returned if the seal is unbroken.
