EV Battery Lifting and Handling
A traction battery is not a component two people carry. Packs run from roughly 300kg to over 600kg, they are wide, and the weight is not evenly spread, so the failure mode is the pack tipping rather than the lift giving way.
A rated lifting table holds the pack flat and controls it on the way down and back up. The point is not just capacity, it is a level platform with enough bed area that the pack is supported across its length instead of on two points.

Common questions
How heavy is an EV traction battery?
Most passenger car packs sit between 300kg and 600kg. Larger SUVs and vans go beyond that, so check the figure for the vehicle rather than working from an average.
Can we not use a transmission jack?
A transmission jack is the wrong shape and usually the wrong capacity. A pack needs support across its footprint, and a small saddle under a wide pack is how one gets dropped.
Does the pack have to be isolated before it comes out?
Yes. The pack is a live source in its own right whether it is in the car or on the table, and it stays one on the bench.
