Corrosion on the pins is the most common way a charging cable fails, and caught early it can be cleaned off. This is a quick drying, non conductive contact cleaner with PTFE, which leaves a water repelling film that works from -20°C to 100°C. It is safe on plastics, rubber and metal contacts. The straw flips down for a spray or up for a narrow jet, and the valve works upside down.

Spray, let it dry fully, then plug in. Extremely flammable aerosol: you must be 18 or over to buy it, and it cannot be delivered offshore.

Delivery and returns

Standard delivery takes 2 to 3 working days. It is free on orders of £100 or more, and £9.90 on smaller orders.

Next working day delivery is £11.90, or £24.00 for delivery before 12 noon. Order by 12 noon, Monday to Friday. There is no Saturday delivery.

We deliver across Great Britain, including the Highlands and Scottish islands. The battery lifting table and mobile EV safety station travel on a pallet for £83.00. For Northern Ireland or anywhere outside the UK, email us for a price before you order.

Changed your mind? Tell us within 14 days of delivery and send the item back unused in its original packaging. Faulty or damaged items come back at our cost. Insulating gloves and other worn PPE can only be returned if the seal is unbroken.
